Yakiniku (roast meat) is what Korean BBQ is called in Japan. For the shameless gourmand, the best way to experience yakiniku is at an all-you-can-eat feast like the one offered here. It's a set-up where you simply keep ordering different kinds of meat and cook it yourself over a charcoal grill in the centre of your table. There are two menus and they are priced differently, so you have to decide at the start which "course" you want. You have 90 minutes and you can eat and drink as much as you want (we like the idea of that). Make sure you try the different sauces with the meat - it can get a little bland without the sauce. Beware: they only serve very basic salad vegetables so there is not much value here for the vegetarians (unless you plan to drink an awful lot!). Average buffet course: 2500 yen.
